DIALATED PUPIL (RIGHT eye)

DIALATED PUPIL (RIGHT eye)

Dear doc,

I am in my late twenties. The pupil in my right eye is has been dialated for a long time I really don't know since when. I don't wear spectacles and can read normally with both my eyes open. But when I close my left eye then my vision is blurred. But I have experienced that when I work on the computer / read for a long time my eyes hurt, and I feel really tired, head feel heavy and it even upsets my stomach. I think I may also be short sighted. I want to know if there is any cure for my problem. Can my dialated pupil be set right? Will it wordsen in future....will it affect my other eye too?.........I really hope not.

Please help.

First you need a complete exam with ophthalmologist to find out the cause of the dilated pupil.  There may not be a fix for it - but it important to find out the cause because some causes can have serious health consequences.  Let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Please see ophthalmologist to find out the cause first.  That is the take home message.  Stop speculating, find out what you have. See the  doctor.
