DOUBLE VISION

I have had double vision for 3 months.  I have seen neurologist and opthalmologist who cannot find any cause.  It seems a blood vessel is blocked and an eye muscle is not receiving a blood supply.  Botox has been recommended to me.  Is there any surgical procedure that could fix this.  What are the side effects of botox?

You should consult an ophthalmologist who specializes in strabismus (sometimes called a pediatric ophthalmologist, but they see adults, too.)  If you live in the U.S., you can use the directory at www.aao.org.  From what I've read, the results of botox are just temporary.
