Dark spot in vision only notice in dark

Hey everyone 2 days ago I got hit in the eye with a think band that is rubber (you use it for working out) in my fitness class and it hit me in my right eye really hard. My vision in that eye was very blurry then it went away after about 15 min. I went home and layed down in the dark and notice the dark blurry spot in my vision! I can only see it in the dark for some reason, it's so weird and I'm really worried. I went to the optometrist and she said she doesn't know what it is and my eye looks fine. I need help this is really bad when it's night.  Oh and there is no blood or anything and my eye looks perfectly fine.. Please this is serious I need this fixed. :(

Forget what the optometrist and ER doctors told you as I have seen them miss iritis and retinal problems frequently as they lack the experience and training to pick subtle things up.  You need to find a retina specialist or at least an ophthalmologist to perform a careful dilated exam to be sure your eye is OK.  Chances are it is but you want to be sure.

I got a second opinion from the doctor at the ER and he said my eye looks fine but he just looked at it with a light! He then told me it should heal in 5 to 7 days. My eye is kinda sore now when I move it and feels like it's swollen but u cannot tell by looking at it. The optometrist said my retina is fine and everything. It doesn't seem to be getting better and I **** know what the problem is I'm also sick now and feel like there's alot of pressure in my head.. Can someone anyone help me out here?
