Daughter's vision changes

Daughter's vision changes

my 8-yo daughter has started complaining that things are all of a sudden looking small and far away.  She is not a complainer and in good health so I'm a little taken back by this.  She just had her eyes examined this summer and they were fine.  she says it happens once or twice a day and then goes away.  If it continues I'll take her to the doc but it's very out of character to make stuff up so I tend to believe something is going on.  thanks.

I would believe her also. Get to an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one near you at www.aao.org

Could be a form of migraine especially if there is a family history of childhood migraine. Seizure not likely.

Thanks again.  She was adopted two years ago from China so her family history is unknown.  would it be a migraine even if she had no pain?  sorry for all the questions. thanks.

So forms of eye migraine do not have pain or headache.
