Dear Dr. and members, Please help

Dear Dr. and members, please help me out as this really bother me

every time I blink when looking at the lights (any source of lights) I would get the streak (long ray) pointing at me.
For example:  when I look at the green traffic light, I blink, then I'll see a streak of long ray of green light pointing at me/flashing at me.   The streak is the same color as the light source, I don't see it when there is no light source around.  I see it with street lights, traffic lights, lap top, TVs,  any source of lights.

Please help me explain this and what possible condition I can have, I was thinking of retina detachment and freaking out.

More information about me:  been having halos and starburst after a severe eye infection (from staying on top of the mountain in a bright day).  Has been to 1 optometrist, 2 opthalmologists and all they diagnosed me is severe dry eyes and prescribed Restasis.

Diagnosis is consistent with your symptoms.

I really appreciate your help/answer Dr. O, thank you

So those streaks of lights I see when blinking (same color as the source of lights it comes from) is not a symptom of retina detachment?  What is considered light flashes, as can be symptoms of retina detachment?

It really bothers me when driving and I wonder what could be done to reduce it.

Thanks
