Degeneration

Dear Sir

I am high myopic patient . From last few months am suffering Floaters in my right eye . But there is no any complaint of 'lighting effect ot Half back curtain'..is it necessary that it would lead to Retiana Detachment. From last one year I did not pay much attention to nutition ,,and i feel that this problem is because of lack of vitamins  .Also I have undergone the LASIK Surgery for Vision improvement in the year 2003 ,,is this floaters ot degeneratio is because of this lasik surgery ? Can I STOP this degeneration/Detattachemnt by having good nourishment .Kindly Suggets ! IS it that every high myopic patient has this problem of Retainal detachment?
