Nope. Can't do those calculations. The IOL could be considered at the nodal point of the eye. Need to know what the surgeon aimed for with a much more complicated calculation that takes the lenght of your eye, corneal measurements, and lens A constant into account.

I will check with my Dr.
From my limited knowledge of optics, I have taken the reciprical of 20 diopters and get 0.05 meters which is 5 cm for a focal length. That does not seem good for distance vision. I am probably simplifying this issue too much. The IOL cards give a length of 13.0 mm and a optic of 6.0 mm if that is any help.
Depends on your measurements. Knowing the lens info tells us nothing about your eyes and what lens was needed for distance. Find out what your distance correction is now and I can tell you if they aimed for distance or near.

I will find out. I have an apponitment on Mar. 18, 2011.
