Dis Colored eyes

I have a yellow tint in my eyes and it seems like an growth growing on both eyes on the sides of the pupil. I spoke to my family doctor and she told me that its from the glare to wear sunglasses and that there is nothing they can do unless the growth starts to cover they pupil. I was wondering if I should see an eye doctor to determine that or not. Because sometimes I get sharp pains in my eyes and the growth and color does not look pretty. I want to get rid of it but she said there isnt a way too.

I think it is an excellent idea to see an ophthalmologist.  It sounds like you have pinguecula on both eyes from sun and wind damage.  They are usually not removed because they are not harmful in themselves - just a sign of way to much exposure.  Wear wraparound sunglasses all the time.  Use lubricating artificial tears frequently to reduce redness and dryness.  See ophthalmologist for further evaluaton.  Good Luck.
