Discoloration around the iris
Over the years I have been having discoloration (white) around my iris on both eyes.  I have brown eyes.  So you can really see the discolored part.  Can you tell me what is going on?

Use the search feature and look up "arcus of cornea"  (also known as arcus juvenalis in young people and arcus senilis in older people).  Then go to Google IMAGES and type in the terms to see what they look like.

If you are younger than 75 and have not had your blood lipids (fats) and cholesterol checked in the last year have a fasting lipid test as a corneal arcus can be due to high blood cholesterol.
