Dislocated lens - 3 options for surgery

Hello, I'm 33 years of age and suffer from a dislocated lens due to trauma in my right eye from an assault. The vision in my eye has steadily got worse and my consultant has said it is maybe time to think if an operation, he gave me the options of

do nothing
sew a lens in the front of my eye
sew a lens in the back of my eye
remove lens and wear a contact lens

He also said there was recent new methods been done in Germany where the lens was implanted without the use of stitches. I am not sure what to do,a ny advice would be gratefully accepted

No third from the top of your options. Remove cataract and sew a posterior chamber IOL into the sclera.

Thanks for info John, I am in regular consultation with my consultant, he seems reluctant to operate re. stiching in my eye because of my relatively young age, stitches coming loose in 10 years time etc. He mentioned the new technique developed in germany that he saw in some conference that requires no stiching and ahs had promising early results, for now I'm going to leave it as it is.
