Do Monofocal Lens Cause Glare, Halos, LIght Sensitivity?

I had Restor Lens put in both eyes in January. Vision got worse as time went on. I had ghosting, glare, Bulls Eye type Halos and extremely sensitive to light. In April my doctor performed prk on both eyes vision is getting better 20/50 left eye 20/30 right eye but light sensitivity got much worse. I am scheduled to have both Restor Lens replaced in July with monofocal lens. Can anyone who has or knows about monofocal lens tell me if light sensitivity is an issue with these as well. I haven't driven in 9 weeks because the sun glare makes it unbearable to drive. I would give these lens more time to adjust as my visionn is improving. However I can not deal with the light issues. I have blue eyes and have been told I'm more likely to have light issues. I'm just hoping a monofocal lens will help this somewhat. Anyone have any thoughts it would be greatly appreciated.

You can use the search feature and archives there are many discussions about ReStor IOLs. Most patients do nicely with monofocal exchange. Ask about the monofocal. Consider insisiting on a high quality asheric monofocal like the technis.
