Do we need to wait longer for the YAG

Dr Oyakawa,
I had the cataract surgery 9 months ago and I had a followup check up 6 weeks ago. The surgery told me that I had a little bit PCO/secondary cataract. He mentioned I am comparatively young and have a higher chance to get PCO. As it was not that serious and he asked me to come back to see him next Feb to decide if I need  to have  the YAG.

I just found the cloudiness increase in the last 2 weeks.
I am thinking why don't I do it now than waiting for a few more months until the PCO completely block my vision.
The only question is if I do it too early, will it be a higher chance I need to do the 2nd or even 3 rd YAG.
To be conservative, how long is the recovery time ?

You can have the yag now.  You are 9 months post cataract surgery.  Recovery is almost immediate.
