Docs in MO

I am moving to MO in the latter part of the year and was wondering whether there are any world-class eye institutes there? I will likely be living midway between St Louis and Kansas City, around the Columbia area.

The Unversity of Missouri in Columbia is excellent, in Saint Louis  Washington University and St. Louis University are excellent. I'm very opinionated but in Kansas City in my opinion my group Discover Vision Centers is excellent two of our MDs edit medical journals and several lecture world wide, others have written medical textbook chapters.

Perhaps  we have specilaty departments: cornea, refractive, retina, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplstics, pediatrics, geriatric and general ophthalmology.

Oh, you have neuro-opthalmology? Great. That is the direction I have been pointed by my last opthalmologist here.

Neuro-ophthalmologist is John Taylor MD in the Independence office. Tom Whittaker MD neuro-ophthalmologist at University of Kansas is also excellent.
