Does Diet and exorcize help the eyes of those who have glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy

If so what foods should one eat to help those with Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy or better yet what foods and diet can help reduce the changes of getting an eye disease  and what foods increase the chance of catching an eye disease? Thank you

FOR GLAUCOMA:  diet has not shown to be important. A very very small study seemed to show that fruits and vegetables help except for one type of fruit that didn't. I would place zero stock in that study until more studies, with better controls and more subjects have been published.

FOR DIABETES:  EAT NOT TO GET FAT OR IF FAT TO LOSE WEIGHT. Otherwise the same old diet: fruits, berries, fiber, fish, nuts, vegetables, limit red meat or do without, cut out high calorie highly processed carbos, cut down saturated fats.

Thank you. Because the food we eat effects our entire body, diets and exorcise also has an effect on our entire body, so I was just curious if our eyes also benefits from a positive diet and exorcise.

A recent study in a highly respected journal showed that people that exercise regularly have less macular degeneration (plus all the other stuff, less obesity, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, less diabetes, less cancer, etc. etc)

DIET AND EXERCISE (AND NOT SMOKING) are the fundamentals of good health.
