Does anyone know if I should be concerned with bright vision spots/ocular migranes?

Hi! A couple of years ago, around the age of 13 I started to get ocular visions and migranes following. They were scary at first, but became bearable and now happen a lot less often. After getting ocular migranes I have started to become more conscious about my sight and am worried about some things. I went to the doctor about the migranes and floaters and she said I have perfect vision and nothings to worry about about the migranes and that I’m freaking myself out (not helpful). Anyways, I get light spots sometimes throughout the day which are like a camera flash that fades out into a dark spot and eventually goes away. Is this something normal or does it indicate something I should be worried or go to the eye doctor again about? I also have a weird thing where when i look at something colored brightly, for example bright red, ill look away and see the outline in the opposite color? Is this normal? I have some anxiety and these problems have been stressing me out wondering if it’s something serious.

Migraines especially eye migraines rarely cause any eye damage. There are some exceptions in smokers (nicotine and cannabis) so don't smoke or use nicotine or cannabis.  You also need to discuss with your physician if you want to go on birth control pills as this can make migraine worse.   The last thing you describe 'opposite color" is perfectly normal and is called a after-image which are usually seen in complimentary colors.  The "camera flash" thing is not typical of migraine which cause zig/zag, heat waves, kaleidoscope shaped images that can be seen with eyes shut and last 5-30 minutes. You may need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist to evaluate that complaint. It could be a hyper-awareness of entopic phenomena (read section in Wikipedia).
