Double vision 18nths after cataract surgery

by cmb3457, Oct 11, 2009 10:11PM
I've been waking up with double vision which disappears w/in 1hr of being away.  Then it comes back in the evening approx about 12hrs later.  I went to the opthmologist and she could'n't find the cause after doing several tests.  I'm concern because there must be a reason for it.  I do have hypothyrodism and I also had cataract surgery about 18 months ago.

If this is new then a cause needs to be determined. I would ask your ophthalmologist to refer you to a strabismus Eye MD or a neuroophthalmologist (the former is preferred).
