Double vision after surgery

Double vision after surgery

Hi,

I have been suffering from Nystagmus since childhood. I am 33 years old.
I had muscle surgery in both eyes on Oct 16, 2009. After surgery, I am struggling with double vision (diplopia). I had never been this.
Doctor said that this is for time being only.

Can somebody explain about it in details? How many days does it take? What should be the further cure.

Diagnosis: Manifest Nystagmus, No Default Null
Surgical note: LR recession 12 mm, MR recession 9mm

You have a complex situation which cannot be answered without much more information.  Ask your eye surgeon for more information so that you can better understand why you are having double vision and how it will improve.
