I am a forty two year old male in excellent health. Ten months ago I had
lasikLasik eye surgery - series for mild
nearsightednessCorneal surgery
Nearsightedness. My left eye achieved 20/20 within days but my right eye only got to 20/50. I had a retreat and achieved 20/30 but had a slight degree of multiple imaging or ghost image overlapping. I have had another retreatment to
correctCorrect (new formula) this but now although my vision is sharper I now have a wide degree of
separationPlacenta abruptio
Separation anxiety between these images and the secondary image is quite pronounced visible even in broad daylight with both eyes open. During my one week follow up the doctor could bring the images together for me when I looked through the Phoropter(?). His comment is that It's still to early to tell why my complaint (over lapping images) actually worsened after treatment, but I think that the treatment was botched. Does this sound likely?

It is important to no whether the
doubleDouble-tussin dm images are present when only looking out of the eye that has had repeat
LASIKLasik eye surgery - series. I suspect this is the case, and this may be related to astigmatism or curvature of the cornea. Many times this can be corrected with a pair of glasses. If the repeat procedure was recently done, you may want to give this some time to see if it improves on its own. You can also consider a second opinion from a corneal specialist if you are in doubt. I hope this has been helpful.
