Dry Macular Degeneration and Medications

I was diagnosed with dry macular degeneration in January 2008, and I am only age 50.

I also have migraines, hashimotos and fibromyalagia. I was taking Topomax (topamax) for 6 months, and finally could not deal with the motor skill problems, so today I started taking Pristiq after trying Depokote, Amitriptyline, Lyrica, Cymbalta, and so many bottles of Advil I have lost count.

I have had an MRI of my brain, and it shows no problems, I have consulted the Neuro Dr, he put me on Maxalt and Amitriptyline, which made me groggy all the time.

My question is there any evidence or testing that was ever done to suggest that macular degeneration in any form causes migraines?  And can the inflammation that my body has be contributing to  macular degeneration ?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
