Dry eyes

by marge80, Jul 03, 2009 02:40PM
Do you believe in eye vitamin drops as sold over the counter?  How would you know that you have dry eyes? Does age has an account on this occurence? How do you prevent this?
Thank you

1. It depends on what the eye vitamin is being sold for. AREDS vitamins for macular degeneration (Eyecap, Preservision, Occuvite, etc) are helpful for that. For other uses such as to prevent cataracts NO
2. Use the search feature and archives to read about dry eyes. Lots of info
3. Yes its related to age, especially in menopausal and post menopausal females.
4. See number 2
