ESIs and posterior subcapsular cataracts

I need to know what is the connection between ESIs and Posterior subcapsular cataracts?
Over four months my husband recived three ESIs One set in the cervical and two in the lumber.
In October, four months later his right eye is almost useless and the left is on the way.
He is only 43yrs. old and we really need to know if this problem was caused from ESIs.

Steroids in any form: oral, drops, inhaled, injected can cause PSC. However so can diabetes, perhaps other drugs, smoking or drinking alcohol heavily, injury, hereditary, radiation or just plain bad luck. You will probably not be able to pin the exact cause down.

will ESIs be a cause of PSC with in a four month period after having three injections,(ESIs).  We are needing to pinpoint the cause of this PSC for it to have accelerated so quickly...

You have only presumptive evidence and cannot say for sure. I had a 15 year old healthy girl a neighbor of mine develop PSC and she had cataract surgery age age 16.
