Enlarged pupils

I have an enlarged right pupil in lower lighting conditions.  Mostly, the right pupil is slightly enlarged (bigger than the left one) but once or twice the left one was slightly bigger. In brighter conditions such as outdoors, the pupils appear equal. I noticed this about four or five months ago.  I have no other symptoms that I could relate to this.  I am a diabetic (type II) and take medicine orally for diabetes and for anxiety and depression. Am 45 year old female.

my right pupil is sometimes larger too, I take prozac and sometimes take xanax..  I mentioned this to my GP and he didn't even seem concerned in the absence of other symptoms.  I've had mine for months now too.  I think it is the prozac.

You need a medical eye exam especially if this is a new finding. Find an Eye MD at www.aao.org or ask your MD for a referral.  Be sure that the Eye MD ophthalmologist sees you BEFORE any drops are put in your eye.
