Explant Restor IOL

3 weeks ago I had a restor lens (17 diopter) to correct a cataract.  Post op my vision was a -1.0D.  I was not happy so the dr replaced it with a 15.5D restor lens this past week.  With the first lens my vision was 20/80 and is now about 20/25.  Much better but I noticed that my vision is better with my cataract eye and a contact from every distance up to maybe a 18".  The quality of vision is sometimes slightly better but in others much better.  I see no advantage to the restor so far since i still  need reading glasses and with them the cataract eye is much better than the restor eye.  After reading some experiences, it seems I will give the lens a little more time but will a monofocal aspheric iol provide better vision at distances of about 2 feet on out?  Should I rule out the crystalens since I need to get it this right next time?  Once I get my lens correct I will move on to my left dominant eye and not before. Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry I did not clarify my question which I have not found in the archives which is how will an aspheric iol compare to my cataract eye with a contact at say 2, 6, and 10 feet?  My cataract eye with a contact sees nearly 20/20 at distance and I need a +1.75 for reading.  The restor eye is comparable at distance but with a poorer quality , is somewhat blurrier around 10 feet and closer even though there is a small  distance IN GOOD LIGHTING that is clearer.
