Extreme Eye Sensitivity

Is there anyone with light sensitivity after cataract surgery, who has had a success story. If so how long does it take? Will life ever be normal again?

After more than five years my left eye is still extremely light sensitive. The ophthalmologist offers no explanation or solution.

Sensitivity to light is so common its almost normal. With monofocal IOLs and uncomplicated surgery its usually gone in 1 to 3 weeks

I had the Crystalens implanted about a month ago the first week was real bright with sun light or bright lights but my eye wast dilated when the eye was no longer dilated the light sensitivity went away.
