Eye Blur

I don't know whats up, I asked this question before, but now I know more about it.
I don't believe its AMD, but it could be.
Anyways, my right eye around I'd say 14 started like losing brightness and was a little lower compared to the other side. I didn't think much of it. But now I'm here 2 years later, standing like 1 1/2 ft. away from my computer screen and I can't read at all what I'm typing in my right eye. I went to the eye doctor(forgot what they're called) and he said it was just a lazy eye, but my research showed that usually only happens when it isn't used and most times, happens in younger children.
Also, I read that an injury may cause sight loss, I ran my head into a pole and had a huge bump on my forehead around the time I was 10 could that have caused it?

I would get a second opinion from a Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one near you at www.aao.org  Its not likely that the forehead bump caused your eye problems.
