Eye Bruising

I had a black eye in early June.  The swelling went down and the blackness subsided considerably.  However, now this eye looks darker than the other.  It is like the black eye is not going away.  It has been 2 months and I am wondering if this is something that I can try to remedy at home, or will I have to see a dermatologist.

The most serious thing a black eye is associated with is damage to the interior of the eye including retinal detachment, traumatic iritis, ruptured eye, etc.  You should see an ophthalmologist (Eye MD) for a comprehensive medical eye examination to rule these associated injuries out. You can ask the Eye MD about your skin pigmentation also.
