Eye Bump

I've had a small white bump inside my lower eyelid for about 8 months. At first I thought it was a sty but it wasn't painful at all, but I could feel it from the outside if I touched my eye. Last night while I felt like I had something in my eye and when I looked the bump had burst. For about 5-10 minutes a white substance was coming out when I pushed on it a little. Now there's not a white bump, but it's a little red. Is this something I should worry about? Or is it gone now? What should I do? Thanks!
