I had a detached retina with complications. I had another doctor in a different state perform the 3rd surgery as I wanted a 2nd opinion. Now my original doctor is very cool towards me. When I asked him should I come back. He said, "The other doctor said for you to only see me 2x. I saw you 2x. So you don't need to come back unless you are in pain or have any other problems".
What kind of doctor prescribes drops for 6 weeks without seeing the patient again? I am concerned because the bottle says to only take for 4 days.
You need to decide who is going to take care of you. If you left your surgeon and when to another surgeon that did surgery then you "changed doctors" and your advise should come from the surgeon that did the last operation.
