Eye Pain - sinuses or allergies? Not sure..

I get a pain in my eyes, it sort of feels like something is "squeezing" my eyes in the corners.  I tend to get relief sometimes from the pain by pushing down on the inside near my eyes and nose.  I have already had two people suggest possible problems.. sinuses or allergies.  I am unsure as to what it may be.  I was taking sinus medicine, and this was not helpful.  I have also tried eye allergy relief eye drops.  My eye pain has become uncomfortable and would like any suggestions possible.
