Eye Pain

by jake5775, Nov 09, 2009 01:57PM
Several months ago I noted that whenever I'd bend over to tie my shoe I'd experience a pain in my left eye area similar to when you get water up your nose..it burns until I stand up and immediately goes away but the corner of my eye is red.  I'm not ill and don't have an infection.

You don't specify whether the corner of your eye is temporarily red or constantly red.  The burning feeling suggests nerve pain, which can be triggered by position change and often has this on / off quality.  This is a curious symptom and I would suggest an evaluation by an Eye MD. Find one on www.aao.org.
