Eye Pain

I have had a pain in my right eye for the past week and a headache along with it. The pain is in the upper part of my eye by the bridge of my nose. What has caused this and how can I make it feel better?

I wish it were that simple to just tell you what you have.  There are so many possibilities.  A slit lamp exam and a complete eye exam with an ophthalmologist should be able to find the problem.  It could be something as simple as a misdirected eyelash or a piece of sand to something complicated like uveitis or scleritis or even uncontrolled glaucoma.  I would make an appointment right away.
