Eye Scar

So i beleive i had a stye right on the edge of my bottom eye lid and while messing around with some friends i got hit in the eye.It ruptured the stye and took longer than usual to heal. Now the stye is gone but i have a bump like scar on my bottom eye lid where it was. Is there anyway to make the scar go away? I really would like to know a cheap  remedy becuase im a college student with no health insurance.

Your best self treatment would be warm compresses, using a over the counter ointment at bedtime to soften it (like lacrilube, duratears or Refresh-PM) and the passage of time. Scars go through "maturation"  at first angry and red and elevated, with time flatten out and turn white.

If health insurance is available to you as a student take it out. Its a great investment.
