Eye Twitching / eyelid slowness

Eye Twitching / eyelid slowness

For 2 months now, I have been having problems with the inner corner of my right upper eyelid.  I have had daily twitching (which I have experienced before but never this often).  It also feels like when I open my eyes, my right inner upper eyelid sticks and doesn't open as fast as the outer corner of the same eye or even my left eye.  It's like the muscle isn't working.   At first it felt like something was under my eyelid but it has been going on way too long now.  Any ideas?  Should I see a doctor?

Yes, two months is a long time to put up with something like that. See an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org

ive been having exactly the same feeling since a vitrectomy i had 5 months ago. my eyelid feels lazy and it can be hard opening the affected eye. when my eyes are open there is now a 2nd crease developing in the affected eye.

any idea what is wrong as it wasnt like this pre-op and my opthalmologist isnt saying much?

One of the people that monitors the eye websites and is a frequent contributor is JodieJ.  She had a similiar problem after a vitrectomy, she got a second opinion and if memory serves me correct the problem was an exposed suture. After it was removed the problem clears. Get a second opinion, ask specificially to check for exposed suture and be sure they flip the upper eyelid to examine the back surface.
