Eye bouncing

My 8 month old son Nicholas left eye turns inward. After taking him to a childrens eye doctor  he now wears glasses and we patch his right hour for two hours a day. At first we were not patching and putting the glasses on at the same time. At your f/u visit the doctor told us to do both the glasses and the patch together. SInce we started that I noticed that when he has the patch on his left eye bounces back and forth. Is this normal?

Yes that is not unusual (called a "searching reflex") and is associated with amblyopic eye. You will need to watch your child till he's a teenager. stay in close touch with the child eye MD as your child's problem often leads to poor vision in one eye and crossed eyes.
