Eye cyst: Need second opinion.

This question is for a James J. Salz, MD, FACS

Recently, a cyst has appeared in my eye, again.( under my eyelid, touching my eyeball). My Eye Doctor prescribed eye drops for inflammation, and hot compressions, but they are not working. Three years ago, I had surgery to remove the cyst, but a week later another cyst appeared right beside the absent one. In 1998, I developed an eye disease called herpes simplex caratosis, where I suffered extreme pain when I blinked, and I went blind in the same eye that now has the cyst.  I was diagnosed with the disease, and had to take antibodoic eye drops and pills for a month. Slowly, the pain stopped, and my eye sight was restored.  I'm thinking this is related, because it's the same eye.  Two other eye doctors said it's not related with my recent problem.  What do you think.  Plus, I really want your opinion of what you think this cyst is.  It's also accompanied with continuous twitching.  What do you think?
Thank you,

The disease is herpes simplex keratitis. Most likely the cyst is NOT related to HSK. You should have a tissue diagnosis by the pathologist from the first surgery. Ask your surgeon what it showed.

The twitching is unrelated.
