My 68-yr old mother has been experiencing eye floaters lately that are getting worse in her left eye. This past week she's getting headaches over her left eye and now numbness in her left cheek. Are these probably associated with her eyesight or her heart?
Headaches and numbness in the facial area is a group of symptoms totally unrelated to floaters and the first two could be caused by stroke, aneurysm, etc. It's an emergency and I would have to advise her to call her MD immediately or go to an ER.
