Eye lid spasms?

Latelely I have been having these rather anoying muscle spasms in my eye lids. What would cause this, and is there anything I can do about it?

Eyelid spasms may be a spasm like any other muscle.

I have similar and have had been told it could be due to stress. It is weird but it always seems to happen when I look in the mirror at my eye. Would also like to here a more professional answer. All the best
