Am from India and my mother she is now 51 was a glaucoma patient and had surgery in both the eyes around 16 years back .. that time doctors told 90% of the nerves are removed an the eye sight will be practically nil or will be like looking through a small pipe . but on the course of time the eye sight is not moving to a black out and no one got any suggestions for increasing an we know its quite an impossible thing to bring it back .. but is there any modern medical developments possibly useful for her to have a better sight ??
