Eye numbness

My right eye area has been numb since last night at 7 pm. I can't blink or easily shut my eye. I think this is connected to the fact that my neck and throat muscles are pulled (which happens a lot due to my scoliosis). I'm also wondering if somehow the bengay I used last night around 7 caused this side effect. I am 22 and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I just called my chiropractor to see if this could be scoliosis-related. I have a needle-phobia (they hurt a lot partially because my muscles never really untense themselves) so I'm pretty thoroughly terrified at the prospect of heading down to the clinic later. It might be nice to at least have a guess at what's happening to me.

Is your face also partially paralyzed?  I can't tell what is going on without an exam but you should go see an ophthalmologist or your doctor (MD) immediately if it has not gone away by now.
