Eye pupil

My son who is 2 1/2 and woke up this morning with his pupils enlarged. Just wondering if I should be concerned and why is it happening?

If they are both enlarged a like amount, constrict when light it put on the eye and he seems generally happy and healthy generally there is no concern. Pupils can dilate due to fear, excitement, some types of medication
