Eye strauin or dry eye?

I take restasis twice a day.  Have some tears.  Have considerable atigmatism and wear polycarbonate lenses.  My eyes don't seem to feel stressed when I don't wear my lenses, but feel stressed when I do. The prescription has been checked and rechecked and has not changed significantly over the last five years.  Can the lenses (polycarbonate) and/or the astigmatism correction be causing my eye stress?  (I am 85 years old and in good health.  I take blood pressure medicine and a water pill.  I have tried omitting the water pill with no reduction in my eye stress, but my blood pressure rises above normal levels.)  I have increased my omega 3 intake significantly since reading the suggestion.  Tenderfoot855.

Some people don't do well with polycarbonate lens.  However there are a dozen or more other variables besides the PCB lens that might be causing eye strain.
