Eye swelling

Hi Dr,

I had RD on 12 Jan.Sleral Buckel with gas. Eye sight before oprration was 3 in left and 6 in right(operated eye).
3 eyedrops were recommended - "Expored"- A steriod, "Atropine", and "Combegene"(For pressure).
Everything was ok till now but yesterday night I got up due to acute pain in operated eye and swelling in it. Morning I called my doc who said may be Atropine has been stopped so its casing this. I today morning have put Atropine one drop (which was asked to put 2 tiems 1-0-1 till this Friday and was suggested to be stopped then) and "Expored" one drop(which I was putting 8 times for 2 weeks ,then6 times for a week now 4 times).
The pain had gone but swelling is still there.
1-Was this some infection (happening after 3 weeks ??)
2- Was this due to some internal damage (Scare tissue problem)
3 - I am assuming if any rubbing at night time has caused any of these problems....
4- do infections need any surgery to cure??
5 If any scar has be done due to rubbing.. would it need surgery further?
4- My both eyes had Latice generation. The UNOPERATED eye never saw any thread like floters but after surgery I see them. I asked my Doctor who said he will do laser for week spots on 15th for  good eye and floters should not be touched .My concern is why has this happened after surgery only..that too in good eye.

There are some questions that are posed to us that we cannot answer because they depend an a first hand view of the eye and complete knowledge of in individual case. You questions are prime examples. Sorry but we cannot answer any of them, to do so would be misleading. They are good questions but need to be asked of your surgeon.
