Eye vision

About two days ago my right eye started hurting and it was a little red, now my eye is even more red and I feel a tremendous amount of pressure inside it, I am seeing really blurry and having trouble opening my eye in the sunlight or where it is highly illuminated. What could this be?

There area many possibilities from inflammation to infection to glaucoma to a scratch or irritation.  It really doesn't matter what it could be or what I think it might be since it is of the utmost importance that you see an ophthalmologist immediately since this could possibly be a vision threatening condition!

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD. It is possible that this is inflammation inside the eye, dry eyes or a number of other conditions.
