Can anyone help? My left tear duct is swollen and red, and so is the eye lid. my eye is very itchy and sore

A tear duct infection (dacryocystitis) can be very severe, cause a soft tissue infection (orbital cellulitis) and require hospitalization and IV antibiotics. you need to see an ophthalmologist or optometrist ASAP
