Eyelid Swelling

My 3 year old son if getting eyelid swelling on and off suddenly, 2 weeks back he had fever with high temperatures and after 2 days suddenly his left eyelid swollen, we immedietly took him to the doctor and he doubted it might be Periorbital Cellulitis and he gave antibiotic shot and prescribed 10day antibiotic course. After 4 days again his right eyelid swollen, we rushed to hospital, and now they said as he is already taking antibiotics and got eyelid swelling again, so it might not be bacterial infection, may be some allergies or some related issues, and reffered us to see both eyeDr and allergist, yesterday we took him to eye doctor and she examined him and said no signs of infection , so possibly to allegies, again today he had left eye lid swelling, dont know what exactly going on and driving us mad. we  had appt with allergist on monday. Need some help or advises on this, does any one had this kind of on and off eye lid swelling.

Eye lid swelling is a common sign of allergies.  It can be related to foods, medication, creams, soaps, etc.  Use cold compress for the swelling.  Hopefully, the allergist can figure out the problem.  However, you should note what your child was eating, using, or playing with when this occurs.
