Eyelid droops

Every time a picture is taken of me my left eyelid droops and makes my eye look half open while the other eye is fine and wide open.  What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

Yes you should be concerned. If that has not been present in the past it is called "acquired ptosis" and needs a work-up. It can be caused by a variety of problems from age to myasthenia gravis.

See an Eye MD. Be sure that the eye MD sees you before the technicians put ANY drops in your eye so he/she can measure the lid problem. Take a good facial close up picture of you taken at least 2-3 years ago to let the Eye MD measure your eyes against what they looked like in the past.
