Eyes and Stress

I suffer from very sensitive eyes (the rims go red on exposure to
wind and water etc.) However I can live with this. Unfortunately
I have another problem which has got so bad I cant think of anyone else to turn to.
When I am working (usually with computers) or driving or in any
other stressful situation my eyes begin to feel incredibly
uncomfortable. They burn and twitch and it hurts when I open and
close them. They physically become very swollen (usually one more
than the other ) and I become extremely self-conscious and
anxious (which in turn makes me more stressed). They become bulging in appearance which is distressful.
However when I am at home (or out of the stressful environments) the condition slowly disappears after a couple of days.
I have tried everything from wearing glasses (including computer
glasses) and using eye-baths and eye-drops but they only have
had fleeting successes.
I saw an optician who said my eyes were healthy.
However I can no longer believe this.
Please can you tell me what is wrong as I am beginning to get
depressed over the situation.
Thankyou.

i would advise u to have a complete eye exam done by an ophthalmologist-  it is possible that u r suffering from either dry eyes or an allergic condition  good luck
