Falling Stars, Flashes of lights

Falling Stars, Flashes of lights

I had a fall in early September which was determined to be a seizure (I have since been diagnosed with Epilepsy). About a month after the fall, I started seeing falling stars and flashes of lights in the corners of my eyes. I have taken seizure medication for the past 7 years. But even with the medication, the flashes occurred several times an hour. I do have a detached retina as well as other visual problems. I've also had pseudo tumor's present in the past.

I have seen my neurologist, my neuro-opthalmologist as well as my opthalmologist. None of them are quite sure what is going on. My neurologist suspects that I may be having some type of seizure several times a day.

Can you give me any insight as to what you may think is going on? Let me know what you think. Thank you!

Your neurologist may be right.
