Fixing Eye Alignment

My question is in regard to an eye alignment issue-strabismus.

My right eye is perfectly straight, and there is no problem with it in terms of position. But, my left eye-while not being a full blown lazy eye-is always slanted a bit to the left. It isn't that noticeable, but does succeed in truly bothering me. If it helps at all, I'm 16, and my mom has a similar problem (same eye, although a bit more obvious).

For the record, I have 20-20 vision.

Is there anything that can be done to make my eyes even?

Thanks very much!

You would need to see an eye MD ophthalmologist ideally a strabismus specialist to determine if treatment is indicated.

you can find one at www.aao.org
