Flashes when looking to the side while turning head

Hello. I am having circle shaped flashes at the corner of my eye only when I look at the side. The flashes are more prominent when I look to the side while turning my head to the same direction. The color varies. Sometimes black, white. I'm guessing that it depends on the lighting conditions. This has been going on for almost 6 months now. I had my eye hit by a ball prior that. I am also myopic. I do have some floaters but I have not experience any veil or shadow in some parts of my vision. Could this be a retinal tear?

I have the light flashing but only at night. Doctors could not find anything. I think it is associated with my Chronic Lyme disease.

It could be or it could be an entopic phenomena. You do need to see an ophthalmologist Eye MD for a dilated retina exam.
